“Feed My Sheep”
The story for this week is the story of Jesus asking Peter, “do you love me?” three times. Jesus then tells Peter to feed his sheep, and to follow him.
Something that comes to my mind when I think of following Jesus is to live life as Jesus lived. The life Jesus lived was a life of serving and taking care of others. Jesus fed the hungry, healed the sick, stood with the weak and powerless. Jesus served the people because he loved them.
A life of following Jesus is to live a life of love, and to serve out of that love. Just as Jesus told Peter to feed his sheep and to follow him, Jesus also tells us today to love and to serve.
As we read this week’s story, let us think of how we can follow Jesus.
