Reflections

A Record of Our Living Faith

We are blessed to have such a diverse community. Each member comes with their own experiences and perspectives. Below is a growing collection of reflections written by different members of the St. Tim’s community. We offer these reflections as a record of our living faith, and as a blessing for those who seek greater insight and encouragement in their own journeys.

Each week, our members reflect on our lives and faith during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our lives have been upended and altered. We struggle with many challenges. But we believe there is meaning to be found.

Pandemic Reflections

Over the past two years, our church was fortunate to have received funding to hire Hi-C and College students to work over the summer. One aspect of their job was to reflect critically on their experiences.

Retreats are an amazing opportunity for us to step back from our noisy lives and share in fellowship, while reflecting together as a community. Here you can find reflections written by members of all ages.

Expecting a child is a joyful time that can also be filled with anxieties and worries. It is also a time of preparation. This series takes expecting parents through a series of birth stories from the Bible.

Expecting Parents

Psalms of Devotion is a virtual guided praise program aimed at enhancing and continuing our Praise Ministry in this time of physical separation. We encourage you to actively engage in a time of praise, leading up to our Sunday Worship.

Psalms of Devotion

As a church, our mission is to be a compassionate community that stands in solidarity with the weak and vulnerable. We stand in solidarity with black people in the United States and Canada, who face anti-black racism and its dangerous, unjust, and cruel consequences every day.
