Seeds
Jesus teaches us about the Kingdom of God by comparing it to a mustard seed. It is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes one of the biggest trees, where birds can come rest on its branches. Jesus teaches us how to live by talking about the Kingdom of God using this parable.
Jesus teaches us how amazing it is for something so big to come out of something so small. Just like the seed that grows into a tree, God takes the little that we have to offer to use it in a big way. But just like the seed that needs to be planted, we must first offer up what we have.
As you read this story, ask yourself; what do I have that I can offer? Can I offer my resources? my time? my talents? my heart? my prayers? When we offer the little we have to give, God will take that to show God’s love to many others around us.
We hope you enjoy this week’s story!
