What Does God Want?

Do Justice, Love Kindness, and Walk Humbly with God

The prophet we will be looking at this week is Micah. Like Amos, when Micah spoke against the injustice he saw, others tried to prevent him from speaking when Micah tried to warn them. Micah tried to tell them to repent.

Micah told the people, giving large amounts of sacrifices to the Lord is not the right way to repent. The correct way to repent is to do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with God.

How are we seeking forgiveness? From others and from God? When you reflect on this story with your children, think of ways we can do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with God.
