Overcoming Fear
Our story continues after Jacob tricks his father Isaac into giving Jacob the blessings of the firstborn by tricking Isaac. Jacob then runs away from home, where Esau cannot harm him.
Many years have passed: Jacob became very wealthy and had a very big family. As the years went on, he missed home, and decided to go back and seek forgiveness from his brother. However, Jacob was still fearful that Esau may not forgive him.
Do you have any experiences with crisis that makes you fearful? What kind of decisions did you make then? How did you come through?
We hope you enjoy this story and reflect deeply on how Jacob was able to overcome his crisis!
