“Searching for Jesus”
We all have to make decisions, but what is it that fuels us into making those decisions? Is it fear? or is it hope?
This week’s story comes from the gospel of Matthew, and it is the story of the three magi that came to visit baby Jesus. They were filled with wonder and excitement, as they started off on their long journey to meet this “King of the Jews”.
However, they weren’t the only ones to look for Jesus. King Herod was also searching for Jesus, although Herod had different reasons to look for him.
What are the things that influenced the three magi? What about Herod? What are the things that influence your decisions you make in your own lives?
Reflect on these questions as you read this week’s story. Enjoy!
