Philip and the Ethiopian Man
After Pentecost, the believers did many things by the help of the Holy Spirit. They helped the poor, they healed the sick, and they spread the good news about Jesus Christ. Not only to their neighbours, but they went to other countries as well.
In this week’s story, an angel led Philip to an Ethiopian man who was in charge of all the money for the Ethiopian Queen. We see how Philip helped him understand the Scripture and share the good news with him. We see how the Ethiopian man came to believe and be baptized.
Although it’s not easy for everyone to approach someone you don’t know or someone very different, sometimes, that is something we need to do. As we reflect on the story for this week, ask yourselves; how did Philip find the traveler? Why did God lead Philip to him? We hope you enjoy this week’s story!
