Overcome Judgmental Attitudes

A judgmental attitude gives us an excuse to see people as less than human. It is a toxic attitude that comes from a toxic heart, and all it brings out is hurt and self-righteousness. This does not bring us peace, in fact it separates you from other people, and it blinds you to good. Let us not close our hearts off like this. May God’s grace flow through us and open up our hearts – this is the key to overcoming judgmental attitudes.

Hi-C Gathering

Our Hi-C had a gathering this past weekend at church, and it was such an awesome time! Thank you to the execs, counsellors, and Pastor Dave for making such a fun event possible!

Women’s Group Movie Night

On the same night, our women’s group had their movie night fundraiser, and had a great time as well! Thank you Maeng for opening up your home and hosting everyone for a wonderful movie night!

Children’s Choir

After a successful pilot season, our Children’s Choir will begin a full year beginning September 24. This choir is for all children and youth from Senior Kindergarten to Grade 12. Olivia is our in-house music professional who will lead our children and youth in building the foundational skills in music. Let your children and youth experience the joy of music through our Children’s Choir!

Our Elder Elections will be happening on October 1st, and the nomination period will end on September 29! Please prayerfully keep these dates in mind as you nominate/and or volunteer to serve as an elder – may God call those with the heart to serve!
