On Friday, February 10 (that’s right, just before Valentine’s Day!), the Young Adults gathered for an evening of conversation on relationships.
We met at Simon Park’s condo party room and feasted on delicious Chinese food. After an enjoyable time of eating and talking, we played an interactive icebreaker game. It got people up and engaged!
Now that people were revved up, we got into some engaging conversations on relationships. People shared their thoughts and discussed questions such as:
- What constitutes a successful relationship?
- What do you look for in a potential partner?
- How have our families shaped our core values and life habits?
- When can we know when to work through our differences or to end things?
Many insightful thoughts and comments came out in these discussions. We discussed things in smaller groups and then reconvened to share our insights with the larger group.
All in all, it was a great time to come together and engage in things that are at the forefront of the minds of young adults! Thank you to all who braved the crazy weather (over 10 cm of snow!) and enjoyed a great time.
