Sunday July 11th marked our second in-person worship and BBQ, this time for the families of Kids Church and YF! The families were invited for in-person worship in the Sanctuary. A Kids Church service was also held outdoors with a message from Pastor James, many activities and games!
The parents enjoyed a fruitful worship while the Kids Church had a fun day of crafts – making oysters out of paper plated and pearls – and participating in a scavenger hunt!
The gloomy weather couldn’t stop our congregation from enjoying a good BBQ and an amazing worship service! Despite the rain, families were still able to enjoy a good meal that included burgers/veggie burgers or hotdogs, a side of pasta, watermelons, chips, and drinks. Tents were set up so that we could enjoy some time outdoors, and space was also created in the fellowship hall for families who wished to stay indoors as well.
We want to thank the families once again for coming out despite the weather, and staying strong in our faith and the community.
We still are monitoring the news and regulations as we wait for step 3 of re-opening.
If you were unable to attend this week’s or last week’s in-person worship and BBQ, don’t worry! There is one last worship and BBQ for our July Extravaganza on this coming Sunday July 18. Please RSVP here: https://timothypc.com/reopening/. We hope to see you there!
Thank you to the interns, staff, and all members of our congregation for making this day possible!
Thank you,
The Summer Interns
