This past Sunday was our first foray into resuming some of our in-person life at church. For many, it was a very special time: the first time we were able to gather together for ESM service in-person since quarantine began! It was also our first joint worship with St. Andrew’s Humber Heights Presbyterian Church.
After service, we had BBQ lunch and fellowship outside together. The interns served hamburgers and hotdogs, as well as cold drinks and chips for the congregation.
We would like to give our thanks to the Interns, Pastor Dave, Pastor James, Rev. Simon, James Lee, and all the elders for their hard work and for making this event possible.
We are doing everything we can to ensure a safe return to community life. We monitor the news closely for updates and the latest recommendations. If you are still uncomfortable with attending Phase One in person, then you are encouraged to continue joining us by Zoom. Let us pray for a safe and meaningful return to community life!
Sincerely,
Rev. Simon
