Hi-C, which stands for Highschool Christians, is the youth group of the St.Tim's community. It is comprised of youth ranging from grades 7 to 12. Below you can see our executive team, and find past experiences from our members: everything from retreats, to events held and organized by Hi-C, and even personal reflections.
Hi-C Execs
Gene Song
Hello! My name is Gene and I'm going into grade 11. Some of my favorite things include chicken wings, Anime, and Kanye West.
I came into this church in grade 6, and joining Hi-C is when I first truly felt a part of the St. Tim's community! The group was just so welcoming, and that inspired me to become an exec myself later on. Hi-C has helped me stay close to my faith, while also allowing me to form some of my most meaningful relationships.
Caitlin Chung
Hi! My name is Caitlin Chung, and I'm 16 years old. I'm going into the eleventh grade starting September 2021. I've attended this church ever since I was born, and have been in the hi-c for 4 years now. I enjoy reading, watching movies, listening to music, and baking as hobbies :)

Hi-C has always been a welcoming, close community where I have a lot of fun. This community has also helped me a lot with discovering who I am and gaining confidence in myself. I have also been able to learn how to care for a community and gain a lot of leadership skills through being a part of the praise team and being an exec. Being a part of the Hi-C has also given me a lot of opportunities to grow in faith and have people to take the journey with. Finally, the Hi-C has become like a second family to me and I am really thankful for each member.

Kayla Rho
My name is Kayla and I am currently in grade 12 and will be going to UofT this coming fall. I will finally graduate from both high school and Hi-C! HI-C has been a community I have been a part of since I was in grade 7 and it helped me evolve as a person. I learnt a lot about becoming a leader as well as deepening my relationship with others and God. I am so grateful I was able to be a part of this community and watch others as they grow along with me.

This was my second retreat with the Hi-C, and the first in my first full year as the Hi-C pastor. What a blessing it’s been to grow and learn about ministry with this wonderful group!
