Dear God,
Thank you for bringing us together this week both in person and online to worship you. Lord, as we continue to phase in our in-person worship service, we pray for the continued safety and health of our congregation, our visitors, and our staff members of St Timothy. Lord, we welcome our brothers and sisters in Christ from St. Andrew’s Humber Heights, as we worship together as one body and in one voice. Thank you to all the staff and interns that worked so hard to provide the opportunity for us to come back to church so that we can see each other again in person and be able to worship together. Lord, it’s such a wonderful feeling to be here together in your house after such a long absence, and we pray that our phased in approach be a blessing to those that can attend each week. Lord, we’re also thankful for the technology and ability to be connected virtually as well, and we pray for our brothers and sisters that have joined us online.
Lord, as things continue to open up around us, please continue to watch over us, and keep everyone safe and healthy. Lord, as the pandemic numbers continue to stay manageable, we pray that as we continue into the summer, that people not be weary and tired, but continue to be vigilent in our lives, and that we continue to work together as a society to get through this. As people and families make preparations to return to work and school, we pray for proper planning and preparation, and also patience as things will undoubtedly be much different that what we have been used to. Lord, we also pray for those that have been impacted financially, that hopefully they can return to work, or open the doors of their businesses.
We also want to pray for Young Sun Lee, the father of Carloline and Linda, and grandfather to Emily, Gabby, and Maddie. Lord, we are comforted knowing that he is resting with you Lord, and please be with the family as they mourn. Let this time of mourning also be a celebration of life as we remember his accomplishments as a husband, father and grandfather.
Lord, with so much happening around us, it can be such an overwhelming time for many. Let us take solace and comfort in you Lord, as we bring our burdens to you, please provide the comfort that we seek. We pray for our individual ministries as well, our prayer gatherings and online bible studies, and in person fellowship events. Lord, please continue to provide your guidance and support for our church, and other churches as we navigate through these challenging times.
Thank you for your continued blessings, and we pray in Jesus name.
Amen
