The past weekend’s 30 Hour Famine Fundraiser Lock In and the Bake Sale were great successes!
We raised $574.40 for the Famine and $280.10 from the Bake Sale on Sunday!
Amazing job Hi-C!!
The 30-Hour Famine was a unique and meaningful experience for everyone!
Because we were doing it together, we were able to endure the pain of hunger and had a lot of fun doing it!!
Thanks to our awesome teachers:
– Michelle for coming out and giving awareness to our Hi-C about our Inner City ministry and personal testimony about serving!
– Danielle and Nathan for coming out and making it extra meaningful our youths!
– Stephanie for leading the cookie decoration and the bake sale!
Also, great job to our Hi-C execs for preparing and leading the fun time of jeopardy, which helped us forget about our hunger…:)
We also watched a very inspiring movie, “Don’t Cry for Me, Sudan” – a story about a Korean Catholic priest who was also a medical doctor and served the people of Sudan, transforming their lives with sacrificial love.
The money raised will be donated to World Vision to help children fight poverty.
And the fund raised from the bake sale on Sunday will be used for the upcoming PAN – Parent Appreciation Night on May 30th!!
