Worship and Freedom

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And all of us, with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit.

–       2 Corinthians 3:17-18

Memory Verse: “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” (2 Corinthians 3:17)

Worship releases us from what binds us. In worship, our spirit meets God’s Spirit who is free and we experience freedom. That is when we enter into God’s glory.

Worship is to enter into God’s glory.

Lord, help me to enter into your glory through today’s worship. Amen.

예배와 자유함

주는 영이시니 주의 영이 계신 곳에는 자유가 있느니라. 우리가 다 수건을 벗은 얼굴로 거울을 보는 것 같이 주의 영광을 보매 그와 같은 형상으로 변화하여 영광에서 영광에 이르니 곧 주의 영으로 말미암음이니라.

–     고린도후서 3:17-18

암송구절: “주의 영이 계신 곳에는 자유가 있느니라.” (고린도후서 3:17) 

예배는 풀려나는 것이다. 우리를 묶고 있는 것으로부터 풀려나는 것이다. 예배는 나의 영과 하나님의 영이 만나는 것이므로 나의 영이 하나님의 영을 만날 때, 자유함을 경험한다. 그때 우리는 하나님의 영광 속으로 들어가게 된다.

예배는 하나님의 영광 속으로 들어가는 것이다.

주님, 오늘 예배를 통하여 하나님의 영광 속으로 들어가게 하소서. 아멘.
