The Way We Can Approach God

Therefore, my friends, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus, 20by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain (that is, through his flesh), 21and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22let us approach with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

–           Hebrews 10:19-22

Memory Verse: “…let us approach with a true heart in full assurance of faith…” (Hebrews 10:22)

We have to have a right understanding of God. Once we really get to know God, we will see God’s deep love towards us. That deep love of God will melt our sins. That is the only way to deal with our sins. Our sins have to be melted in God’s love. Then we can approach God with boldness.

Lord, help me to get to know You deeply.  Amen.

하나님께 나아가는 길

그러므로 형제들아 우리가 예수의 피를 힘입어 성소에 들어갈 담력을 얻었나니 그 길은 우리를 위하여 휘장 가운데로 열어 놓으신 새로운 살 길이요 휘장은 곧 그의 육체니라. 또 하나님의 집 다스리는 큰 제사장이 계시매 우리가 마음에 뿌림을 받아 악한 양심으로부터 벗어나고 몸은 맑은 물로 씻음을 받았으니 참 마음과 온전한 믿음으로 하나님께 나아가자.

암송구절: “참 마음과 온전한 믿음으로 하나님께 나아가자” (히브리서 10:22)

하나님을 잘 알아야 한다. 하나님을 제대로 알면 우리를 향한 그의 사랑을 알게 된다. 그 사랑에 우리의 죄가 녹아지는 것이다. 그 외에는 우리의 죄를 다룰 방법이 우리에게는 없다. 죄는 오직 하나님의 사랑에 녹아져야만 다루어진다. 그때 우리는 담대함으로 하나님께 나아갈 수 있다.

주님, 하나님을 더 깊이 알게 하소서. 아멘.
