September 20th Announcements

CHURCH PROGRAMS & NEWS

Elder Election will take place on Sunday September 27^th. Please pray for the election and candidates Please refer to their bio from the insert. After today’s service, Elder Edward Kim and Steve Lee will share what it means to be an elder along with their personal experiences with the rest of the congregation. Please remain seated after the service.

Friday Gathering will resume on Sept 25^th (7:30pm- 9pm), continuing with the Bible study on the Gospel of Mark (chapter 11). Programs are provided for kids and Hi-C youths as well. Dinner will be served at 6:30pm in the fellowship hall. Please rsvp to your district elders for the food preparation.

Parent Workshop: Best Practices for Sharing Your Faith with Your Children (Guest Speaker: Tori Smit) will take place today at 2pm after worship service. All parents are welcome. Babysitting for toddlers will be provided in the Kids Church area.

Evangel Hall Ministry: Thanks to those marinated the meat on Wednesday or served at Evangel Hall past Thursday: Kee Choe, Maeng Park, Andy Lee, Bob Kim, Bob Yoon, Edward Kim, Michelle Kim, Peter Park, Steve Lee, Rev. David Son and Rev. Soo Jin Chung.  

Rev. Yongmi Kim is attending a conference in Ghana representing Women’s Missionary Society (PCC). The theme of the conference is “From Slavery to Modern Slavery.”

Church Cleaning: ESM is asked to clean up the Kids Church area and to take out all the garbage after Sunday programs.

Sorauren Food Bank: Every Tuesday from 10am to 12noon and 1:30 to 4pm. Teesdale Food Bank: Every Thursday from 12:30am to 2:30pm.

Evangel Hall: Every third Thursday from 5:30pm to 7pm.
