But wicked people and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving others and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it, and how from childhood you have known the sacred writings that are able to instruct you for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.

–     2 Timothy 3:13-17

Memory Verse: “All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

The scripture helps us to be competent to fight the wickedness and equips us to do good work. All scripture is inspired by God. As we read the scripture, we can experience the inspiration of God. Let us meditate on the scripture every day. Let us experience God’s inspiration. Worries, anxieties, and fear will dissipate from our hearts and our hearts will be filled with new hope, joy, and love 

Lord, help me to diligently meditate on your word every day. Amen.

악한 사람들과 속이는 자들은 더욱 악하여져서 속이기도 하고 속기도 하나니 그러나 너는 배우고 확신한 일에 거하라 너는 네가 누구에게서 배운 것을 알며 또 어려서부터 성경을 알았나니 성경은 능히 너로 하여금 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음으로 말미암아 구원에 이르는 지혜가 있게 하느니라. 모든 성경은 하나님의 감동으로 된 것으로 교훈과 책망과 바르게 함과 의로 교육하기에 유익하니 이는 하나님의 사람으로 온전하게 하며 모든 선한 일을 행할 능력을 갖추게 하려 함이라.

암송구절: “모든 성경은 하나님의 감동으로 된 것으로 교훈과 책망과 바르게 함과 의로 교육하기에 유익하니 이는 하나님의 사람으로 온전하게 하며 모든 선한 일을 행할 능력을 갖추게 하려 함이라.” (디모데후서 3:16-17)

성경은 악한 것을 물리칠 수 있는 힘을 준다한다. 선한 일을 행할 능력을 준다. 성경은 하나님의 감동으로 쓰여진 것이다. 성경을 읽을 때 우리는 하나님의 감동을 느끼게 된다. 늘 성경을 묵상하자. 하나님의 감동을 경험하자. 내 안에 있는 걱정, 근심, 두려움이 사라지고 새로운 소망과 기쁨과 사랑이 우리를 채울 것이다. 

주님, 매일 매일 성경을 깊이 묵상하게 하소서. 아멘.
