Pure Heart

The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the decrees of the Lord are sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is clear, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the Lord is pure, enduring for ever; the ordinances of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey, and drippings of the honeycomb.

Memory Verse: “The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the decrees of the Lord are sure, making wise the simple.” (Psalm 19:7)

It is important to have a pure heart. When our heart is pure, our eyes will be enlightened and we will be able to see what we ought to see. What purifies our heart is God’s Word. Let us meditate on God’s Word daily. Our heart will become pure and we will find the true joy of life.

Lord, purify my heart with Your Word.  Amen.

깨끗한 마음

여호와의 율법은 완전하여 영혼을 소성시키며 여호와의 증거는 확실하여 우둔한 자를 지혜롭게 하며 여호와의 교훈은 정직하여 마음을 기쁘게 하고 여호와의 계명은 순결하여 눈을 밝게 하시도다. 여호와를 경외하는 도는 정결하여 영원까지 이르고 여호와의 법도 진실하여 다 의로우니 금 곧 많은 순금보다 더 사모할 것이며 꿀과 송이꿀보다 더 달도다.

–     시편 19:7-10

암송구절: “여호와의 율법은 완전하여 영혼을 소성시키며 여호와의 증거는 확실하여 우둔한 자를 지혜롭게 하며.” (시편 19:7)

마음이 깨끗한 것이 중요하다. 마음이 깨끗할 때, 우리의 눈이 밝아질 것이고, 우리가 봐야 할 것을 볼 수 있을 것이다. 우리의 마음을 깨끗게 하는 것은 바로 하나님의 말씀이다. 매일 하나님의 말씀을 묵상하자. 우리의 마음이 깨끗해질 것이고, 삶의 기쁨을 다시 찾을 수 있을 것이다. 

주님, 하나님의 말씀으로 나의 마음을 정결케 하소서. 아멘.
