Introducing St. Tim’s Overnight Camp!
Our St. Tim’s Summer (Day) Camp has been an incredible success.
We want to continue the great experience in a more intensive way.
We are excited to introduce the launch of our brand new St. Tim’s Overnight Camp!
Our summer camps are all about one thing: God’s love
What better way to experience God’s love and the joy of community than through a camping experience on beautiful camp grounds away from the city?
Let your child experience growth and create connections through this unique and amazing experience.
The St. Tim’s Overnight Camp is an overnight summer camp from August 25 to 28 at Camp Medeba in Huntsville, Ontario, for children that are going into Gr. 3 – Gr. 6 (September 2025).
During this time, children will have the opportunity to experience a fun camping experience with plenty of outdoor activities, yummy meals, cozy cabins, and experiencing God and community in nature!
Why Overnight Camp?
Our summer day camp has been a tremendous success.
Many children have experienced the joy of God’s love.
We pay close attention to all of the details to provide the best experience of love for each of our children.
We believe that an overnight experience shapes young people at an even deeper level.
We want to provide the life-changing experience of God’s love in nature.
The children will be at Camp Medeba at the same time as the St. Timothy youth group, and share many of the same facilities. They will arrive at and depart Camp Medeba at the same time. They will, however, have different programming that is separate from the youth group.
Why Camp Medeba?
The St. Timothy youth group (known as the Hi-C) has been holding their summer retreats at Camp Medeba for many years.
Many youth and young people of St. Timothy have experienced life-changing connections with God, their faith and the community.

It is a very familiar place with great facilities, surrounded by all of the beauty of God’s creation.
Children going into grades 3-6 now also get to experience God’s love in these beautiful surroundings!
Schedule

Transportation
Campers are expected to arrive at St. Timothy Presbyterian Church by 9:30AM on Monday, August 25. Once everyone has completed checking in, we will begin loading the school bus and depart for Camp Medeba at 10:30AM.
Coming Back from Overnight Camp
We will depart from Camp Medeba by school bus at 12PM on Thursday, August 28 and are expected to arrive at St. Timothy Presbyterian Church around 4PM.
Meals
All of our meals will be provided by Camp Medeba during the camp. On our way to Camp Medeba, we will stop by McDonalds to have lunch.
Cabins
The cabins at Camp Medeba have bunk beds with twin sized mattresses and can sleep 8-9 campers and 2 counsellors. There is no bedding provided, so you will need to bring your own sleeping bags.
Supervision and Oversight
The camp will be led by adult volunteers from St. Timothy under the direct supervision and oversight of the leadership group that includes the following people, who will be on site with the children at all times:
- Rev. Simon Park
- Pastor James Park
- Elder Grace Bai
All volunteers will undergo training and preparation to ensure that the camping experience is safe, fun and welcoming for all the children!
Registration Limits and Waitlists
Because we want to maintain manageable camper to staff ratios, registration will be limited to 20 boys and 20 girls. Registration will be taken on a first come, first serve basis until the capacity is reached, after which time registrants will be placed on a waitlist.
Policy on Devices and Communication
St. Tim’s Overnight Camp has a NO DEVICE policy. We want all kids to have a device-free experience. Any devices in the possession of the children will be taken and stored in a safe place until their return to Toronto. Periodic emails will be sent by the camp staff to parents. Any necessary communications can be directly to the camp leadership. We look forward to letting the kids be kids with one another and nature!
