God calls us into a relationship with God. We are called to enter this relationship in community with others – this community is the church. When we come together to worship God, we recognize that everything we have flows from God’s goodness and abundance. In response to God’s bounty, we offer in gratitude what we have to God and for God’s ministry on this earth.
This is the basic spirituality behind stewardship and tithing. Tithing is a spiritual discipline that helps us recognize the true source of all of our abundance. It is a discipline that opens our hearts to be generous. God has made it so that through our generosity, we are blessed so much more in return. What a wonderful God we worship and serve!

- In person during Sunday service (when in-person services resume)
