Living Faith

There is one true God
whom to know is life eternal
whom to serve is joy and peace.
God has created all that is.
The whole universe testifies
to the majesty and power of its Maker.

According to our faith, everything begins with God. God has created all things, including life. The existence of all life and matter is a testament to God’s glory. Knowing God and serving God lie at the centre of our existence, and should be the anchoring core around which our lives revolve. 

God as the center and starting point stand in marked contrast to life in the world. Life in the world starts and centers around me. When we examine our lives honestly, where is the starting point for our existence? This is a question we must each ask ourselves honestly and with humility. 

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,

    and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight. (Proverbs 9:10)

May God bless us on this journey of knowing and serving this God as the core of our existence, through whom we find life eternal, joy and peace.
