Staff
Rev. In Kee Kim – Senior Minister (BA, MDiv)
In Kee has been the senior minister of St. Timothy’s since 1992, overseeing both the Korean and English-speaking ministries. He is a graduate of Knox College (’87) and has previously served at Toronto Korean Presbyterian Church as the minister of the first English-ministry in Toronto. He is married to Sarah Kim, the Executive Director of the Women’s Missionary Society at the Presbyterian Church in Canada; they have two children and four grandchildren as well.
Rev. Soo Jin Chung – Associate Minister (BEng, MDiv)
Soo Jin began serving at St. Timothy’s in 2002 as a Youth Pastor and was later ordained as the associate minister in 2004. He is a graduate of Knox College (’04) and is married to Lily Ko, the Program Coordinator of International Ministries at the Presbyterian Church in Canada; they are proud parents of four children.
Rev. Simon Park – Associate Minister (BCom, JD, MDiv)
Simon was ordained as the associate minister of St. Timothy’s in 2019. Prior to answering his call to ministry, he practiced as a criminal defense lawyer for many years. He is a graduate of Knox College (’19) and served as the Youth and Young Adults Pastor during his studies. He is married to Deb Chang, and they have two children.
Rev. Dave Lee – Associate Minister (BFA, MDiv)
Dave has been serving at St. Timothy’s since 2017 and was ordained as the associate minister in 2024. He is a graduate of Knox College (’20) and is currently working towards a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy at the Institute for Christian Studies. He oversees the Youth and Young Adults ministries.
Pastor James Park – Pastor of Children’s Ministries (BMus, MMus, MDiv)
James has been serving at St. Timothy’s since 2019. He is a graduate of Knox College (’23) and currently oversees the Children’s ministry. He is married to Jess Kim.
Elders
The Presbyterian Church in Canada ordains teaching elders (also known as clergy and ministers) and ruling elders (elected by the congregation). The congregation recognizes God’s gifts for ministry among its members. These gifts, including pastoral care, hospitality and leadership are accompanied by a call to serve the church. The calling and gifts of these men and women are affirmed by the congregation who elects them as ruling elders. They take vows and are ordained in a public worship service. Ruling elders are not “lay” leaders. Ruling elders are responsible for the leadership, pastoral care and oversight of the congregation.
