Humble Meditation

I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name for ever and ever. Every day I will bless you, and praise your name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall laud your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. On the glorious splendour of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.

– Psalm 145:1-5

Memory Verse: “On the glorious splendour of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.” (Psalm 145:5)

Our meditation is powerful when the glorious splendour of God’s majesty is contained in it. In our meditation, our humble heart is also contained. God’s greatness can be contained only in our humble heart.

Lord, help me to humbly meditate on your greatness every day.  Amen.

작은 소리

왕이신 나의 하나님이여 내가 주를 높이고 영원히 주의 이름을 송축하리이다. 내가 날마다 주를 송축하며 영원히 주의 이름을 송축하리이다. 여호와는 위대하시니 크게 찬양할 것이라 그의 위대하심을 측량하지 못하리로다. 대대로 주께서 행하시는 일을 크게 찬양하며 주의 능한 일을 선포하리로다. 주의 존귀하고 영광스러운 위엄과 주의 기이한 일들을 나는 작은 소리로 읊조리리이다.

–     시편 145:1-5

암송구절: “주의 존귀하고 영광스러운 위엄과 주의 기이한 일들을 나는 작은 소리로 읊조리리이다.” (시편145:5)

우리의 작은 소리에 힘이 있다. 그 작은 소리 속에 주의 존귀하고 영광스러운 위엄이 담겨져 있다. 우리의 작은 소리에는 우리의 겸손함이 또한 담겨져 있다. 하나님의 위대하심은 오직 우리의 겸손함에 담겨질 수 있다.

주님, 매 순간마다 주의 위대하심을 나의 작은 소리로 읇조리게 하소서. 아멘.
