God Raises Tabitha
In this week’s story, we read about Tabitha who was raised from the dead when Peter prayed for her. This story reminds us of some of the healing stories of Jesus, like when Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead.
We read again in this story about the New Life given to us by God. What does this look like in our lives? What does it mean for us to have New Life in God?
When we look closely at the life of Tabitha, we see what it means to serve. Just as Tabitha had the gift of sewing, we are all given different gifts. When we offer our gifts to God, God will take the small and imperfect things we give and use it as part of God’s ministry, like the way God used Tabitha’s gifts to care for the widows.
What gifts are you given? What gifts can you offer to God?
We hope you enjoy this week’s story!
