Quarantine has actually been really great for me! I get to sleep a lot, watch shows, and spent a lot of time doing things I’ve never done before. My parents usually work when my sister and I come back from school, but this has given us a chance to eat meals together as a family. I’m only in grade 9 and I have way more time to do schoolwork now, so I’m never really stressed about school. At times I feel a little guilty that I’m enjoying quarantine so much especially since so many people are suffering in ways I can’t even imagine. This has led me to be thankful for many things I’ve never realized before. I’m thankful for a home to be able to practice social distancing, for technology since I can still talk to my friends, and many more things. I’m grateful that my biggest concerns are just when I’ll be able to get a haircut and that I miss my friends.
