God Who Sees Us

For though the Lord is high, he regards the lowly; but the haughty he perceives from far away. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve me against the wrath of my enemies; you stretch out your hand,  and your right hand delivers me. The Lord will fulfil his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures for ever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.

–     Psalm 138:6-8

Memory Verse: “For though the Lord is high, he regards the lowly; but the haughty he perceives from far away.” (Psalm 138:6)

God always sees us. We cannot see God but God can see us. God knows our needs better than we know them. When we don’t even know what to ask for, God knows our needs deeply and provides what we need. God does not like the proud. But God regards the lowly.

Lord, thank you for providing my needs in spite of my shortcomings. Amen.

우리를 보시는 하나님

여호와께서는 높이 계셔도 낮은 자를 굽어살피시며 멀리서도 교만한 자를 아심이니이다. 내가 환난 중에 다닐지라도 주께서 나를 살아나게 하시고 주의 손을 펴사 내 원수들의 분노를 막으시며 주의 오른손이 나를 구원하시리이다. 여호와께서 나를 위하여 보상해 주시리이다 여호와여 주의 인자하심이 영원하오니 주의 손으로 지으신 것을 버리지 마옵소서.

–     시편 138:6-8

암송구절: “여호와께서는 높이 계셔도 낮은 자를 굽어살피시며 멀리서도 교만한 자를 아심이니이다.” (시편 138:6)

하나님은 우리를 늘 보시고 계신다. 우리는 하나님을 볼 수 없다. 그러나 하나님은 우리를 보신다. 우리에게 필요한 것을 나 보다도 더 잘 아신다. 우리가 무엇을 구해야 할지 모를 때, 우리의 필요를 아시고 우리의 필요를 채워주신다. 하나님은 교만을 싫어하신다. 그러나 겸손한 자의 간절함을 응답하신다.

주님, 부족한 나의 모든 필요를 채워주시는 하나님께 감사합니다. 아멘.
