God Fully Satisfies Our Needs
I have been paid in full and have more than enough; I am fully satisfied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
– Philippians 4:18-20
Memory Verse: “My God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
St. Paul said God would satisfy our every need. God will not just satisfy our needs but he will fully satisfy them. We have nothing to worry about when it comes to our needs. What we need to think about is how God’s justice will be established here on earth.
Lord, thank you for fully satisfying my every need. Help me always to seek Your justice in my life. Amen.
풍성하게 채워주심
내게는 모든 것이 있고 또 풍부한지라 에바브로디도 편에 너희가 준 것을 받으므로 내가 풍족하니 이는 받으실 만한 향기로운 제물이요 하나님을 기쁘시게 한 것이라. 나의 하나님이 그리스도 예수 안에서 영광 가운데 그 풍성한 대로 너희 모든 쓸 것을 채우시리라. 하나님 곧 우리 아버지께 세세 무궁하도록 영광을 돌릴지어다 아멘.
– 빌립보서 4:18-20
암송구절: “나의 하나님이 그리스도 예수 안에서 영광 가운데 그 풍성한 대로 너희 모든 쓸 것을 채우시리라.” (빌립보서 4:19)
하나님께서 우리 모든 쓸 것을 채우실 것이라고 바울은 말씀하신다. 그냥 채우는 것이 아니라 풍성한 대로 채우실 것이라고 말씀하신다. 우리의 쓸 것을 놓고 우리는 걱정할 필요가 없다. 우리가 진정으로 생각해야 할 것은 하나님의 정의가 이 땅에 이루어질 것을 생각해야 한다.
주님, 나의 쓸 것을 풍성하게 채워주셔서 감사합니다. 늘 하나님의 의를 구하는 삶을 살게 하소서. 아멘.
