Glorious Grace of God Within Me

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, just as he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before him in love. He destined us for adoption as his children through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace that he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

– Ephesians 1:3-6

Memory Verse: “… to the praise of his glorious grace that he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.” (Ephesians 1:6)

We didn’t come into existence accidentally. Within our existence, there is the great will of God. Within us, there is God’s choice, God’s blessings, and God’s love that makes us holy and blameless. Let us understand the great work of God within small and insignificant people like us. And let us praise God’s glorious grace.

Lord, help me to see Your glory that works in a small person like me.  Amen.

내 속에 있는 하나님의 영광

찬송하리로다 하나님 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지께서 그리스도 안에서 하늘에 속한 모든 신령한 복을 우리에게 주시되 곧 창세 전에 그리스도 안에서 우리를 택하사 우리로 사랑 안에서 그 앞에 거룩하고 흠이 없게 하시려고 그 기쁘신 뜻대로 우리를 예정하사 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 자기의 아들들이 되게 하셨으니 이는 그가 사랑하시는 자 안에서 우리에게 거저 주시는 바 그의 은혜의 영광을 찬송하게 하려는 것이라.

암송구절: “이는 그가 사랑하시는 자 안에서 우리에게 거저 주시는 바 그의 은혜의 영광을 찬송하게 하려는 것이라.” (에베소서 1:6)

우리의 존재는 어쩌다보니 생긴 존재가 아니다. 우리의 존재 속에는 하나님의 깊은 뜻이 담겨져 있다. 하나님의 택하심이 있고, 하나님의 복주심이 있고, 거룩하고 흠이 없게 하는 하나님의 사랑이 있다. 작은 우리 속에서 역사하시는 하나님의 위대하심을 깨닫고 그의 은혜의 영광을 찬양하자.

주님, 보잘 것 없는 내 속에서 역사하시는 하나님의 은혜의 영광을 보게 하소서. 아멘.
