A Future with Hope

For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you. When you search for me, you will find me; if you seek me with all your heart, I will let you find me.

–       Jeremiah 29:11-14

Memory Verse: “When you search for me, you will find me; if you seek me with all your heart, I will let you find me.”

From today, let us practise the discipline of memorizing a verse a day.

God’s plan for us is to give us a future with hope. It is not our positive thinking or wishful thinking; it is God who gives us a future with hope. God paves our way for a beautiful future. God will open many doors of opportunities this year. Let us pray to have our eyes opened so that we may be able to see the doors when they are open for us. 

Lord, open my eyes so that I may be able to see the doors when they are open for me. Amen.

미래와 희망

여호와의 말씀이니라 너희를 향한 나의 생각을 내가 아나니 평안이요 재앙이 아니니라 너희에게 미래와 희망을 주는 것이니라. 너희가 내게 부르짖으며 내게 와서 기도하면 내가 너희들의 기도를 들을 것이요. 너희가 온 마음으로 나를 구하면 나를 찾을 것이요 나를 만나리라.

–     예레미야 29:11-13

암송구절: “너희가 온 마음으로 나를 구하면 나를 찾을 것이요 나를 만나리라.”

올해에는 매일 성경을 암송하는 훈련을 하자.

우리를 향한 하나님의 생각과 계획은 우리에게 미래와 희망을 주는 것이다. 우리의 미래와 희망은 하나님께서 주시는 것이다. 나의 긍정적인 생각이 아니다. 우리의 미래를 열어주시는 분은 하나님이시다. 올해에도 하나님께서 많은 문을 열어주실 것이다. 하나님께서 열어주시는 문을 볼 수 있도록 우리의 눈이 뜨여져 있기를 기도하자.

주님, 우리의 눈을 열어 주셔서, 하나님께서 문을 열어주실 때, 그 열린 문을 볼 수 있게 하소서. 아멘.
