The Beginning of Faith
The three big monotheistic religions (Christianity, Islam and Judaism) begin with Abraham. The story of faith begins with Abraham.
Why did God call Abraham?
Why was a new course required for humanity?
What is the shape of faith?
What is faith, and what difference does that make in our lives today?
Why do we need faith in this day and age?
We will examine these and other questions through the story of Abraham.
This series is open to all people – regardless of whether you attend church regularly or not at all.
The questions we delve into, and the themes we explore, are relevant to all people trying to live with meaning and purpose in this often confusing world.
Our Fall Fridays series is for everyone from children all the way up to adults. We will have separate children and youth programs.
Our purposes for this series are twofold:
1. Engage deeply with the rich treasure found in the Bible, particularly the story of Abraham (Genesis chapters 12-24)
2. Deepen connections with others who are eager to delve into questions of faith and life

Adult Study Format
- Each week, a reading will be assigned from the book of Genesis
- Adults will be divided into tables
- The study will begin with a lecture or discussion
- There will be ample discussion time to digest the material and reflect together
Our Fall Fridays program is our signature program for the season. We work extremely hard to make this a meaningful part of your fall that will enrich your life. We hope that you can join us!

Join us for Adventures with Abraham. Each week, children will go on a journey through the stories of Abraham and see how he lived his life of faith.
