Dreams Being Fulfilled

I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing. Whoever does not abide in me is thrown away like a branch and withers; such branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

–     John 15:5-7

Memory Verse: “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” (John 15:7)

“Ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” Living with a dream is a beautiful thing. To believe that the dream will be fulfilled is to experience both the beauty and the power of life. If we abide in God, we will have beautiful dreams. Also, because we believe that the dream will be fulfilled, we can live a confident and a powerful life. 

Lord, do not let little things worry me and discourage me but give me your strength to pursue the beautiful dreams you gave me. Amen.

꿈이 이루어지는 삶

나는 포도나무요 너희는 가지라 그가 내 안에, 내가 그 안에 거하면 사람이 열매를 많이 맺나니 나를 떠나서는 너희가 아무 것도 할 수 없음이라. 사람이 내 안에 거하지 아니하면 가지처럼 밖에 버려져 마르나니 사람들이 그것을 모아다가 불에 던져 사르느니라. 너희가 내 안에 거하고 내 말이 너희 안에 거하면 무엇이든지 원하는 대로 구하라 그리하면 이루리라.

–     요한복음 15:5-7

암송구절: “너희가 내 안에 거하고 내 말이 너희 안에 거하면 무엇이든지 원하는 대로 구하라 그리하면 이루리라.” (요한복음 15:7)

“원하는 대로 구하라 그리하면 이루리라.” 꿈을 갖고 산다는 것은 아름다운 것이다. 그 꿈이 이루어질 것이라고 믿으며 산다는 것은 삶의 아름다움과 힘, 둘 다 경험하는 것이다. 하나님 안에 거하면 우리는 아름다운 꿈을 꿀 것이다. 또한 그 꿈이 이루어질 것이라는 확신이 있기 때문에 강한 삶을 살 수 있다.

주님, 작은 일에 두려워하고 좌절하지 말게 하시고, 늘 꿈을 갖고 그 꿈을 추구하는 삶을 살게 하소서. 아멘.
