From Darkness To Light

He has rescued us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

–       Colossians 1:13-14

We cannot break through the power of darkness on our own. The power of darkness is too strong. Redemption is possible for us because God’s powerful hands have rescued us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the world of light.

Darkness no longer has a hold on us. Darkness can no longer crush us. Sin has lost its power to crush us.

Let us thank God.

Lord, thank you for rescuing me. When I couldn’t break through the darkness on my own, you transferred me from darkness to light. Amen

어두움에서 빛으로

그가 우리를 흑암의 권세에서 건져내사 그의 사랑의 아들의 나라로 옮기셨으니 그 아들 안에서 우리가 구속 곧 죄 사함을 얻었도다.

–       골로새서 1:13-14

우리가 스스로 흑암의 권세를 뚫고 나올 수 없다. 흑암의 권세는 강하다. 우리에게 구원이 가능한 것은 하나님의 강한 손이 우리를 흑암의 권세에서 건져내어 빛의 세계로 옮기셨기 때문이다.

이제 어두움은 우리를 더이상 붙잡지 못한다. 어두움은 우리를 짓누르지 못한다. 죄는 우리를 짓누르는 힘을 잃었다.

하나님께 감사하자.

주님, 나를 옮겨주셔서 감사합니다. 나 스스로 뚫고 나오지 못할 때, 하나님께서 나를 어두움에서 빛으로 옮겨주셨습니다. 아멘.
